For those of you not aware of what Inuyasha is, it’s a Japanese anime. This means that it originated over in Japan. The series kicks off when a young girl named Kagome gets pulled down the well at her shrine. There she is launched 400 years in the past in the Feudal Era of Japan. Demons and humans both exist in this Era. There is also a sacred jewel that Kagome shatters while trying to get it back. Since Inuyasha WANTED that jewel to grant his wish, he decides to help Kagome try to recover all the shards. On their journey they meet Shippo, Miroku, Sango and Kirara (pronounced Kilala). They also meet a range of villains such as Kikyou,(who am am proud to hate)Koga, Sesshomaru, (Inuyasha’s half brother) Kagura, Kanna, and worst of all Naraku. There is also some romance in the show. Inuyasha and Kagome are a couple but Koga is also interested in Kagome and Kikyou wants to bring Inuyasha to the realm of the dead. It’s a great series and the old episodes are on at 8:30pm YTV Monday through Thursday and the new episodes come on Fridays at 10:00pm.YTV |
